Posing for Dan to set up the camera for our family picture. While we were posing another truck was coming up the road. It was kinda swerving a bit as it climbed the snow covered mountain road. The car was across the road from us. Me and the kids all ran across the road so we would be safe and not accidental ran over. The truck braked and ended up getting stuck. The passenger of the truck got out and started chewing me out. "Don't you know the worst thing you can do is make someone stop when they are driving in the snow" and on and on he went. Dan was standing behind the car setting up the camera. When the guy didn't stop and started walking towards us he stepped from behind the car. That guy took one look at him and shut right up. Good thing because of the three vehicles on the mountain we were the only ones with a tow strap, that we used to pull him out. I'll tell ya, today I was glad to be married to a big intimidating man.

How this Cedar Mountain trip came about. I had gotten up to go to an early morning Young Women's presidency meeting. When I got home no one was ready for church. I was like what the heck we have like 10 minutes to be to church. "But it snowed on the mountain," Dan said. Then I got 5 pairs of blue puppy dog eyes begging me to let us go to the mountain to play in the snow. So that day for church we went to view and enjoy the Lords handy work.
