Yeah Ryan Passed!

After much deliberating and bowing the judges finally announced he passed

Ryan testing for yellow belt

He is moving so fast it is a little blurry.

Yellow Belt Test

Ryan has been doing karate for a month now and is ready to test for his yellow belt. He had been working really hard to learn the first Yong. Along with the first Yong he is learning how to count in Japanese. He is doing a good job and we are very proud of him. Thanks to Grandma Mimi for coming down to watch him test for his yellow belt. Of course he passed.

Look mom dirty hands

Dan was out working on his truck. Adam went out and helped him. They both ended up with dirty hands. Adam also got dirt on his face, belly, and legs. Needless to say after this he headed strait for the tub.

Dalton opening birthday present.
For Dalton's 5th Birthday, I was going to do him a pirate party. I had been wanting to have a BBQ to show off the new back lawn. So I decided I could kill two birds with one stone if I had a BBQ for Dalton's Birthday party. We invited over; Aunt Kathy, Uncle Paul, and Elizabeth, Aunt Melissa, Uncle Rob, and Sara, Aunt Tammy, Stephanie, and David, Aunt Linda, Uncle Jamie, Jedzia and Cassie, Our neighbors Cami and Rick, and their kids Josie, Zack, Ella, and Gram. And our neighbors Kaleen and Zack, and their kids Caleb and Gabe, and the friend Isaac. We had hamburgers and hot dogs and salads. Then cake and ice cream. It was a lot of fun. The kids all had a great time jumping and being silly together. It was great having everyone over. The back yard was so nice. Once the sun started going down the back bushes provided just the right amount of shade. Making it a great night.

Swiss Days Parade

Ryan was in the Swiss days parade, but as I when to take a picture of him by camera battery died. Oh I was so disappointed. I didn't know where to pick him up and after about 20 minutes and he hadn't come by I when looking for him I walked all the way up to the karate class room and then Dan called and said he was at the karate both at the city office so me and the kids walked all the way back to find Ryan. By that time we were so tired that we got some lunch and then went home. So glad Grandma Mimi came to take pictures of Dan in the parade.
