Dan's Trip to Texas

Dan was called to go help fight firers in Texas. These are some of the pictures he took. They stayed in Hereford Texas quite a bit. He said there was not much there. They stayed at the fire station. He also said that the town was named Hereford after the cattle breed. Hereford was surrounded by big feed lots on both sides of he town so when the wind blew you would get what was called the Hereford fog, or the really bad smell of the feed lots blowing into town. On story he told was of watching one of the guys he was with walk through some glass door out side. The guy grabbed his face and started dry heaving. Dan couldn't figure out what the heck he was doing until he walked out and the smell was so bad he started to dry heave himself and ran for the truck. He went with Jed Miller, and Tom Valk on that trip.

Dalton's Head

While I was at a meeting Dalton fell backwards and cut his head. We Chaved his head and put steri strips on it. He has a scar from it now.

Dalton goes to Mrs. Kathy's preschool in Santa Clara. He has made lots of friends and is learning his letter and numbers. He also learns lots of fun songs that he gets to perform at the end of the year for all the moms and dads.  Mrs. Kathy is an awesome preschool teacher.

Ballarina Sage

Sage has been taking a ballet class from Mrs. Tearsa. Grandma Reese came down to go with mom to her recital. Aunt Melissa tended the boys. It was a fun girls night and sage was a very graceful ballerina. After the show mom gave her a bouquet of flower for doing such a good job.

Ryan's Base Ball Game

Ryan played Baseball this year. This is his last game. He did a really good job and enjoyed playing especially batting. It was hard for mom to get him to his games because they seemed to only be on nights she worked. Dad took him to most of the first ones, but when he went to fight fires in Texas he ended up missing quit a few because mom couldn't get him there.
